Jul 16, 2014 · Got my 825i with quite a few miles and the same problem you have. There is no adjustment on an 825i, don't mess with the cables at the rear of the machine. I consulted my John Deere mechanic and he confirmed that. I got a set of parking brake pads, (AM148465) replaced them, and the parking brake works like new now. pcbunn · #14 · Jun 12, 2020. When I cycle the buttons I can get it to read -22* as in the picture. My question is wanting to know what area the issue is in..It is very simple to check an alternator with a volt meter. Put any multimeter in the DC Volt mode. Put the probes on the battery posts, not the terminals with engine off. It should read 12 volts or so if the battery is charged. Then start the engine, even if you have to jump it.
